Meet Rich Liguori

My name is Rich Liguori and I’ve been a Bergen County resident my entire life. I was born and raised in Ramsey, New Jersey and graduated from Ramsey High School. I attended Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts where I received a B.S in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Spanish. While in college I competed in football for 4 years. Upon completion of college I was sworn in as a New York City Police Officer and 2 years later transferred to the Oradell Police Department. While an active full time officer I attended Seton Hall University where I received an M.A in Human Resource Training and Development. I’ve been a Police Officer for 20 years and currently live in Emerson, New Jersey with my wife and 2 sons, ages 6 and 7, for the last 10 years. I am an active volunteer coach in the Emerson recreation program for football and wrestling. At work, I am very active in my community and have been a LEAD officer for 15 years and founded the River River Dell Junior Police Academy which was started 8 years ago. I look forward to the opportunity to share my knowledge and neighborhood to anyone who is interested in planting their roots in this great area.
